Helping to Make Equality Become a Reality

Helping to Make Equality Become a Reality | Stash Tea

For years Stash has been committed to bringing about a better tomorrow, because we believe everyone should have an equal opportunity to succeed. But until equality is a reality, we must do more.

We write this not to say “look how good we are for participating”, but to let you know that we’re committed to making a change that goes beyond a statement on our website or on social media. Stash donated 15% of a week of online sales to the NAACP, an organization that strives to eliminate race-based discrimination and to ensure the health and well-being of all persons. But it doesn’t end there. We are taking steps to make sure our brand is as inclusive as possible, from the influencers we partner with, to the artists behind our teaware. And most of all, Stash will continue to nurture a diverse workplace that promotes equal opportunity.

As a certified B Corp, we are committed to nurturing a brighter future for everyone. We will continue in siding with justice and what is right, in order to become not just the best tea company in the world, but the best tea company for the world.

We count ourselves as allies to the black community, and we continue to stand with you.

An Educational Resource Shortlist

During the past few weeks we listened, reflected, and learned. If you haven’t had the chance to do so, we encourage you to take the time this Friday on Juneteenth, which marks the oldest known celebration honoring the end of slavery in the United States. Here are some resources to educate yourself about systemic racism and inequality in our society. We also added a list of businesses, entrepreneurs and creators to follow and support.
